A cabin in wimberly -
Now that’ll be nice
The wind, the trees, the smell
Of a crisp fire and a promise
Of many poems slowly read
By a handful of hopeful poets
The criticism aimed at improvement
The silence after the read apparent
Did it provoke thought or feelings or
The intangible - we always seek -
Rarely grasp the fragile frame.

Much, too little - and it escapes like
Papers that have had enough of flames
And capture the wind ……………
yes
A cabin in wimberly with enough time
To write, to critique and be critiqued
To move commas: life deserves such
Precision. Such a pause -
